Our approach is to make durable clothes that can last a long time. Therefore, we largely use synthetic fibres in our products. One of the most effective ways to reduce our climate impact is to make products that are long-lasting and frequently used.
Synthetic fibres are associated with environmental risks due to their traditional extraction from oil, a finite resource, and the waste generated when products reach the end of their life. To manage these risks, we take active measures to find better production processes. With each collection we design, we increasingly incorporate recycled fibres certified according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), without compromising durability or performance. We also focus on designing products for recyclability, preparing them for textile-to-textile recycling at the end of their life.
Products certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) contain recycled content that has been independently verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source to the final product. Additionally, certified organizations have met social, environmental, and chemical requirements at each stage of the supply chain.
