Odd Men's Parka - Didriksons

Odd is a fully water and windproof parka with taped seams. A classic parka design with a loose, comfortable fit. The parka has a slightly dipped and split rear hem. Two buttoned front pockets and two inside pockets, one zipped and one buttoned. The material is a soft cotton blend with polyamide and has a matte finish. The hem, hood and cuffs are all adjustable. Two-way zip front with protective storm flap. Odd has a fixed hood with a high collar. The jacket lining has been dyed using a solution dyeing technique. This technique saves up to 80% water compared to conventionally dyed fabric in the same material. PFC-free water-repellent finish.

Polyamid is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water repellent, lightweight, breathable or able to transport moisture away from the body – whether working in unison or on their own, depending on the function of the garment. Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Waterproof - This garment has a water column between 5,000-10,000mm and is fully waterproof, the material as well as the construction.

Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.

Warm - This garment is warm and has insulating properties with a padding level between 100-140 g/m².

Extra warm - This garment is extra warm and has highly insulating properties with a padding level between 160-300 g/m².

Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

Below is a simple summary of the breathability of our garments.

No breathability - This garment has a low capacity for transporting moisture in the form of water vapour, which means that you may experience a damp, clammy feeling if you plan to wear the garment for any significant level of physical activity.

Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

Mechanical breathability - This garment offers mechanical breathability, which means that we have incorporated one or more vents into the garment so that air can pass through. These vents are carefully positioned, so that water cannot penetrate the garment.
