Aston is a fully water and windproof jacket with taped seams. The jacket is made from a soft, matte material with a classic fit and a high collar. The jacket has a button in the front opening to keep it closed if you choose to leave the zip undone for additional ventilation. The hood is detachable, has a malleable peak and can be adjusted at the back and sides. Adjustable hem and cuffs. The jacket has two side pockets, one inside pocket and one breast pocket on the left with zips and a second breast pocket on the right with a velcro fastener. The jacket lining has been dyed using a solution dyeing technique. This technique saves up to 80% water compared to conventionally dyed fabric in the same material.

Polyester is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water repellent, lightweight, breathable or able to transport moisture away from the body – whether working in unison or on their own, depending on the function of the garment. Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Below is a simple summary of which garments have insulating properties. The warmth scale is based on a number of factors such as weight of padding, type of padding, length, and construction of the garment.

Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

Heat_3.png Extra warm - This garment is extra warm and has highly insulating properties with a padding level between 160-300 g/m².

breathable_1.png No breathability - This garment has a low capacity for transporting moisture in the form of water vapour, which means that you may experience a damp, clammy feeling if you plan to wear the garment for any significant level of physical activity.
Breathable_2.png Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.
Breathable_3.png Mechanical breathability - This garment offers mechanical breathability, which means that we have incorporated one or more vents into the garment so that air can pass through. These vents are carefully positioned, so that water cannot penetrate the garment.
